Cold Hollow Sculpture Park 

Cold Hollow Sculpture Park’s 2026 season is drawing to a close on October 12. The Park’s final event of the season is a special birthday celebration for founder and sculptor David Stromeyer. “David @ 80: This One’s a Party,” takes place on October 3 at 2 p.m. and offers visitors a walking tour of the Park led by Stromeyer to commemorate his 80th birthday and explore more than 50 years of sculpture set within the Park’s unique landscape.

Glenmere Mansion 

Glenmere Mansion is hosting two exclusive culinary experiences, offering refined dining and thoughtfully paired wines in an intimate, luxurious setting. 

This month’s Food & Wine Series features the flavors of Sicily on October 7 and 8 with a beautifully crafted three-course prix fixe dinner. Guests will enjoy regional wine pairings alongside dishes like Yellowfin Tuna, Scallopini, and a seasonal Pumpkin Spice Panna Cotta. On October 11 and 25, guests can enjoy a luxurious Sunday brunch from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The three-course mid-day dining experience includes two complimentary glasses of Prosecco to elevate your weekend gathering.

Hack Club

Hack Club is hosting Harvest, an autumn hackathon inviting middle and high school students of all experience levels to build, code, and collaborate. Students can bring their ideas to life by creating websites, games, and software.

Hula 

Hula is hosting multiple events this month to bring together entrepreneurs, creators, and community members. 

On October 6, Hula will host Show Her The Money: From Inspired To Invested, a dynamic panel discussion highlighting how women investing in female-led ventures creates meaningful social and economic impact. On October 16, The Women Rising Summit will offer a full-day experience focused on career growth, leadership development, and personal well-being, designed to empower women across industries. 

Closing out the month on October 24 and 25, Vermont TechJam 2026 returns as Vermont’s largest annual tech expo and career fair, showcasing the state’s most innovative companies.

RunVermont 

RunVermont has announced exciting updates for the 2027 race season, including a redesigned route for the iconic M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay and the debut of a half marathon distance. 

Set for Memorial Day Weekend, the reimagined course removes a train rail crossing and untwists its layout to eliminate potential delays and course crossovers. The addition of a standalone solo half marathon will give runners a new way to experience Burlington’s celebrated race weekend.

Registration opens October 1, 2026, for the 2027 M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon, Half Marathon, and Relay, as well as the 2027 Half Marathon Unplugged.
