Join VSO for their annual David M. Wilson Farmers’ Night tradition featuring Damascus Kafumbe. VSO will present Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 1 in C Major interwoven with percussion and string instrument performances by Kafumbe. The program will also include the premiere of a Music-COMP student composition by Mount Mansfield UHS senior Eleanor Freebern.  The concert is free and open to the public; no tickets required. February 15, 2025, 7:30-9:30pm at Flynn Center in Burlington, VT

Enjoy “Modernism and the World of Yesterday” presented by the VSO and internationally acclaimed pianist and composer, Sir Stephen Hough. The performance marks the East Coast premiere of Hough’s piano concerto along with pieces from Wojiech Kilar, Felix Mendelssohn, and Anna Clyne.  You can even kick off your Saturday evening with a pre-concert art gallery cocktail party with Adventure Dinner, just around the corner at Burlington City Arts.
